OSHA 511 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry
Course Description: This course is an excellent general industry standards survey course for individuals seeking up to date knowledge of OSHA policies, procedures and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles. Topics include the scope and application of the OSHA general industry standards. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide. Each student receives a current Code of Federal Regulations 1926 and materials related to the curriculum. Upon completion of the hourly and course requirements, the participant receives a certificate verifying course completion. OSHA 511 is also one of the pre-requisite requirements for attendance at the OSHA 501 General Industry Outreach Trainer Course.
