Who We Are

The Massachusetts Association of Vocational Administrators, Inc. (MAVA) is a professional association of educational leaders who administer and advocate for high-quality vocational-technical and agricultural education in Massachusetts.

We are a statewide association that includes 61 member schools – regional vocational technical high schools, regional and county agricultural high schools, independent high schools, city vocational high schools, an educational collaborative, an academic high school, and comprehensive high schools. Each offers at least one state-approved Chapter 74 vocational technical education program.

MAVA is run by a Board of Directors which includes the CEOs or designee of all member schools. The Board is led by five officers: a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary/Clerk, and Immediate Past President. They supervise an Executive Director, who oversees a team of employees and independent contractors.

MAVA is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization.
