Important Information

• Prepayment by Credit Card through PayPal via MAVA’s enrollment form will be required for all courses (no checks will be accepted).
• Registrations with Fitchburg State University without this prepayment will be removed.
• Classes will be cancelled if a minimum of 10 students have not registered.

Course Registration Steps: A 2-Step Process

Selecting Undergraduate or Graduate Level course:
Students taking undergraduate-level courses must have earned a high school diploma, prior to enrolling in any Fitchburg State/WSU courses.

Students taking graduate-level courses must have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university prior to enrolling in any Fitchburg State/WSU courses. 

1. Enroll with MAVA’s form and pay by credit card through PayPal.
2. ​Complete Fitchburg State Registration-Fitchburg online course registration directions.
   • You will need your FSU ID and the CRN.
   • Do not pay Fitchburg State University, all payment is done through MAVA.
   • You will receive a course confirmation email from Fitchburg State.

Course Withdrawal Policy

• Use the withdrawal form on your confirmation email as soon as you know you need to withdraw.
• We often have a wait list for students who want to get into the class.
  • Before 1st class – Full Refund
  • Once the course begins – No Refund

• If you have been a student before you have an ID already.
• If you are new to classes at Fitchburg State they will assign an ID upon registration.
• The confirmation email from Fitchburg State will contain student ID and Fitchburg State username.

Registration for a WSU course is a 2-step process. You must enroll on the MAVA’s Extended Campus site first. After successfully registering and paying MAVA for the course, you need to complete the WSU Registration form and email it back to Celeste Washington at cwashington@westfield.ma.edu

You are not officially enrolled in the course unless you have completed the 2-step registration process.
