Application Procedure

All elements of the application packet as indicated below:

  1. Nomination form completed by nominee’s superintendent-director, or designee familiar with the candidate.
  2. Completed application form, including resume, provided by the candidate.
  3. Candidate response and agreement to conditions form provided by the candidate.


Leadership Academy II is an advanced course that encompasses all aspects of leadership, building community, personnel, Chapter 74 educational law and finance for a position of Superintendent.​

In Leadership Academy II, participants take part in sessions throughout the year. Participants seeking admission to the Academy complete an application, including a letter of support from their Superintendent. Some districts have an application process to select the participant from several interested educators in their specific school.

Attendance at the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 General Membership Meetings

Weekend Sessions will run from 9:00am – 4:30pm on day one and 9:00am – 4:30pm on day two with am and pm breaks as well as breaks for lunch.
